Wander down the Valley of the Waters Track to Empress Falls, before joining the iconic Wentworth Pass.
Next, you’ll arrive at the pool beneath Wentworth Falls. It’s like a tropical lagoon and it’s a perfect spot to relax and revel in the moist cool air on a warm day.
When you’re ready, follow the signs to go up Slack Stairs. Slack Stairs is not for the faint-hearted, in places it has caged and open ladders. When you get to the top, turn right and walk around to the 1st base of Wentworth Falls.
Then, it’s the BIG CLIMB up the cliff in the most amazing steps you have ever seen. Follow the track back to the main carpark and then take the track back to the Conservation Hut.
Cafe 92 at The Conservation Hut is a great place to grab a cuppa or an energy restoring meal.
Allow at least 4 hours for the walk.
