Layers in Time takes visitors on a self-guided 1.4km loop of Woodford Reserve, capturing the site’s history and sharing these stories in an accessible and engaging way.

Illustrated signage along the heritage trail now immerses the visitor in the history of the site and features QR codes to quickly and easily access more detailed information.

The project was a collaboration between Council, Traditional Owners and the Woodford Academy. It was assisted by the NSW Government through the Heritage Near Me program. The $75,000 heritage grant was awarded to Council in August 2018.

Woodford Academy is open 10am to 4pm every third Saturday of the month, or by appointment for groups of 10 people or more.
