Walking to the first landing of Wentworth Falls and returning via the Undercliff Walk.
This is a great short walk that offers some of the most amazing scenery in the Blue Mountains. If you don’t like steps, this walk is not for you.

ACCESS: Start at the Wentworth Falls picnic area carpark. https://w3w.co/thickened.prepay.heroic
GET THERE EARLY. We arrived at 8:50am on a Sunday and the carpark was all but full.
FOLLOW the path along the top of the escarpment all the way to the end, about 200m. Take the track down to the falls and keep going until you get to the base of the first (main drop) of the falls.
The path down is historical and a wonderful example of early craftsmanship. There are plenty of great spots for photos down there.
FROM THERE, either continue on and go down Slack Stairs and on to the Conservation Hut and then back to your car. https://www.facebook.com/AskRozBlueMountains/posts/3729573180419408
OR, return the same way you came down, as we did. When youβre back on top, you’ll see a sign to take you back to the carpark, or go onto the “Undercliff Walk”, this is the better option. We followed that until we got to the track that takes you up to Princes Rock Lookout. This looks down on the falls. From there, just follow the track back to the carpark.
OR, do the “Undercliff Track” and keep following it around to the Conservation Hut for a coffee and treat at Cafe 92 at The Conservation Hut and then walk back to your car. This will add about 1 hour to the walk.
We met some lovely people out having a good time today. Everyone was responsible and having fun.
